  • We performed a visual inspection of your vehicle to locate the source of the oil leak. Upon inspection we noticed your vehicles rear main seal and engine oil filter adapter housing are both leaking. Recommend replacement of your vehicles rear main seal and engine oil filter adapter housing. Your vehicle is also leaking from the differential gasket. Replacement is recommended.
  • CRANKSHAFT MAIN OIL SEAL – Remove & Replace – V6,Automatic Trans Rear

  • DIFFERENTIAL COVER GASKET – Remove & Replace – Base,GT

  • We scanned for codes and found P0457 Evap system leak detected. We then used the scanner to manually operate the purge valve. We found that when commanding the valve open with the scanner he valve would not open. We then back probed the harness to check cor power and ground and found both where present while commanding the purge valve on. We then manually induced power and ground directly to the purge valve and it still did not open. These tests confirm that the purge valve is faulty. We recommend a purge valve.
  • We removed the heater controls and glove box in order to gain access so we can determine which acuator was faulty. We found it was the blend door acuator for the heater and a/c. We removed the rest of the items to gain access to the acuator and replaced the faulty acuator. We then tested the operation and reassembled everything as required.

  • We checked the battery and found the battery is bad. We replaced the battery, started the vehicle and found it had a misfire. We scanned for codes and found it has a misfire on cyl. #6. We then removed the number 6 spark plug and found the plug was soaked with fuel and the cylinder is full of fuel. We recommend replacing #6 injector.
  • Oil change light came on. And P2196, P2198 bank 1 and 2 upstream o2 sensors stuck rich pending codes. Rec oil change and drive to burn more fuel out of the exhaust, exhaust was drenched in fuel.

  • Performed a pressure test to locate the source of the coolant leak . A broken heater hose is the reason to why the coolant is leaking. We removed the defective heater hose and installed a new hose. Then topped off the coolant.

Found debris in the screens of both vvt solenoids. Rec replacing both vvt solenoids and oil service to start.
