Services Performed
- Scanned for codes found P0579 cruise multifunction circuit range. Test drove vehicle and was not able to replicate the stalling condition. We can spin the a/c compressor by hand at this time. We will retest after brake repair. For the brake light, tested the brake level sensor and park brake switch, both are working correctly at this time. After reading forms found a loose connection at the instrument cluster. Tightened the connection and the brake light is now off. If the concern persists then the instrument cluster will need to be replaced.
- Remove and reinstall four wheels and rear brake drums to inspect brake condition. Inspect entire system for leaks. Lining remaining is: Front (mm 8 ) Rear (mm 8 ) LF:_1.130_________ RF:__1.125________ SP__1.146_____ LR__0.765________RR:_0.770__________SP_0.752_________ Noticed brake light is illuminated on the dash board, checked Fluid level and is full, checked Fluid condition and measures 200 ppm. Upon test drive noticed both the front and rear rotors are badly warped. Both front and rear pads measure 8mm. Rotors are too close to minimum to turn. The park brake shoes we can not inspect until brakes disassembled. We recommend replacing the front and rear rotors and pads, and brake fluid flush. Inspect park brake shoes. Note.. the front rotors have bearings pressed into them and 1 time use Nuts. Note brake light will require diagnose. Also found the sway bar end link bushings missing. Used our own wheel lock key.
