- Removed and replaced pcv valve, cleaned all sealing surfaces, and replaced intake manifold gaskets. Ran vehicle to verify no leaks and scanned for current dtc's. All systems test okay at this time.
- Scanned vehicle and found DTC's P052EE0 and P227900. Both codes are related to PCV system performance indicating an issue within PCV. With engine running, observed excess Crankcase vacuum and noise dissipation by pulling oil cap and releasing vacuum pressure. After further tests were completed we have determined that the PCV has failed and is needed to be replaced at this time. We will also need (6) intake gaskets for the repair as well.
