- Confirmed noise in front of vehicle. Noise would occur when going over bumps and turing right. Bounced suspenion over struts and would notice area around front left strut making noise. Whem bounced would feel a viberation on strut. Lifted vehicle and inspected suspenion conponents. Disconnected strut and noticed noise would still occur. With further inspection found the backing plate was barely rubbing with lower ball joint causing the noise concern. Reconnected strut and bent backing plate away from ball joint and test drove vehicle. On test drive no noise was heard again. The noise was being caused by backing plate slightly rubbing against ball joint. The repair was bending backing plate away from ball joint.
