We used the scanner to verify cylinder #6 missing at idle. We then performed a cracking compression test and found #6 intermittently did not have compression. We recommend a valve job and a tune up as well.
Valve Job, Pressure test both heads, and surface both heads. Plus valves if necessary

We found the engine four quarts low. It has a large oil leak coming from the front engine area near the timing cover/front crank seal area. This is the cause of the engine noise. More than likely it needs a engine.

We first checked for spark and the vehicle has spark. We then did a fuel pressure test and found the vehicle has a lose in fuel pressure. We checked for power at the fuel pump. We have power going into the pump but nothing coming out. We recommend a new fuel pump/sending unit.

We scanned the computer and have the following codes: PO121-TP Sensor performance P2119-Throttle closed position performance We performed a throttle body service and test drove and the same codes came back. We recommend another throttle body unit.

VARIABLE VALVE TIMING SENSOR – Remove & Replace – In-Line4 Camshaft Position Sensor,One,Intake or Exhaust – [NOTE: Labor estimates listed are for R&R only and DOES NOT include diagnosis time.]
We performed our diagnosis and found that we have a out of range variable valve timing valve solenoid. We replaced the sensor and then ran the monitor test afterwards. After the monitors had run, everything checks out just fine.
