- We scanned for codes and found P193C-00 steering angle signal, U0121-00 Lost communication with anti-lock brake system (ABS) Control Module A. We found a technical service bulletin in relation to both codes showing a recall for this problem. We recommend taking the vehicle to the dealer to preform the recall. We also found code P0456-00 Evap system leak detected. We smoke tested the vehicle and found no leaks. We then checked the purge valve for operation and found that when commanded 0% with the scan tool the valve continues to pull the tank into a vacuum. These tests confirm that the purge valve is faulty. We recommend replacing the purge valve.
