    • Inspected vehicle steering system and found new pitman and idler arms and tie rods. Verified all nuts are torqued and tight and no loose fittings. Road tested vehicle and found no abnormal vibrations or shaking at moderate speeds. Only felt slight vibrations when applying brakes indicating that rotors may be warped from heat. Recommend adding a steering damper to satisfy customer needs, Also recommend front rotors to be replaced at next brake service.

Our professional diagnostic tools offer more detailed, accurate, and efficient diagnostics, making them reliable for testing and diagnosing your vehicle. We scanned for codes a found a P0300 Random Engine Cylinder Misfire. We monitored live data and found cylinder 4 is misfiring. We then checked the coil and found it to be okay. We then ran a cadence test and found compression to be okay. We then checked the spark plug wire resistence and that to be in spec as well. We then checked for spark on the spark plugs and found it to be irregular. We recommend replacing all 8 spark plugs and wire set. Then retest

    • We performed a smoke test and found the seal around the fuel cap is leaking. We replaced the fuel cap.
    • We scanned the computer and have the following codes: PO121-Throttle Positioning sensor 1 performance PO171*-Fuel trim system lean bank 1 PO174-Fuel trim system lean bank 2 PO455-Evaporative Emissions Large system leak detected PO573-Brake light switch circuit The throttle positioning code means that the throttle body needs to be replaced. This is also causing the two other codes, PO171 and PO174. We need to perform a smoke test to determine the EVAP code, PO455 code, then report the problem with that. The brake light circuit code is a faulty brake light switch.
