    • We put the vehicle up on a rack, and found that the engine was covered in oil around the oil filter. We then removed the passenger front Tire and started the engine. We found the oil leaking from the oil filter adapter mounting gasket where it meets the engine block. We recommend replacing the gasket, adding the lost engine oil and retest.
    • Removing the front engine crankshaft pulley first, then gain access to the oil filter housing/adapter assembly from the engine block, cleaning the mating surfaces, installing a new gasket, and reassembling the unit.

    • We have checked the charging system and have found no problems as of yet. The battery checks out good. The alternator is charging at 14.3 volts and the starter draw test is good. We are going to let the vehicle sit until after lunch and retest everything again to see if anything changes. Checked for parasitic draw and found test yielded no drains. All systems okay at this time.
