    • After visually inspecting the power steering system we found that the pump was over filled with fluid. We then found that even with the correct amount of fluid the pump is still making noise. We also found that a repair was attempted on one of the power steering lines by cutting a rubber hose out and hose clamping a new one in its place. At this time we do not believe the steering rack is leaking but we will not know for sure until the reapir is made. We are recommending replacing the power steering pump because it is humming, serpentine belt because it is cracking, and both pressure and return lines due to the previous repair attempts.
    • POWER STEERING PUMP – Remove & Replace – V6
    • POWER STEERING HOSE – Remove & Replace – V6 Pressure
    • POWER STEERING HOSE – Remove & Replace – Return

    • We first scanned for codes and found P0201 cylinder 1 injector circuit problem, P0204 cylinder 4 injector problem, P0206 cylinder 6 injector problem, P0207 cylinder 7 injector problem, and P2146 injection Position voltage control circuit group 1. We then checked for voltage at cylinders 1,7,4,6 which are the injectors in group 1 and found no voltage was not present we then checked the connectors at the injectors and found no faults. We checked the fuses and found that the fuses are not blown. We then inspected the wiring harness for any rodent damage and didn't find any faults. We then checked the main engine harness connector and found the pin for group 1 injectors was loose and pushed back. We disassembled the plug replaced the pin and locked the new pin in place. We then test drove the vehicle and found that the customers concerns where gone and no codes returned.
