2014 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 HD

- Performed a diagnostic test using the diagnostic scanner tool to pull DTCs on this vehicle. We came across P2202 NOx sensor circuit low voltage bank 1 sensor 1, P20EE NOx catalyst efficiency below threshold, P2BAD exhaust NOx concentration high. Recommendation to solving this issue would be to replace NOx sensor bank 1 sensor 1, clear codes and take vehicle on a test drive to ensure repairs were done correctly. A bad NOx sensor can trigger the dash light to appear stating the exhaust fluid is in poor condition, after replacement of the NOx sensor we will recheck the condition of DEF to ensure it is in fact the sensor which caused the light to appear.

2006 Chevrolet Silverado

- Found fuse for blower motor removed, assuming to make it shut off. Got blower motor to work and confirmed it did not turn off found the blower motor resister was back feeding the signal wire keeping the blower motor on. Rec replacing blower motor resister.
- BLOWER MOTOR RESISTOR – Remove & Replace
- Found missing bolt from the back of the transmission that holds the exhaust hanger causing a heat shield to rattle. Transmission mount need to be remove to gain access to bolt hole.
- TRANSMISSION MOUNT – ACCESS TO REPLACE MISSING BOLT-Remove & Replace – Diesel Trans,Rear
- Whole front end worn out badly. Both upper and lower ball joints have play, idler and pitment as well. Inner and outer tie rods have play. Sway bar links are cracked and all 4 shocks startin to leak. Hard to tell if wheel bearing have play with how much play the ball joints have ,once disassemble we can tell. Rec both lower ball joints, both upper control arms, both inner an outer tie rods and idler and pitment arms. All 4 shocks and sway bar links, possible wheel bearings.
- SHOCK &/OR STRUT ASSEMBLY – Remove & Install or Remove & Replace – 4WD Both – [DOES NOT include disassemble or alignment (where applicable).]
- SHOCK ABSORBER – Remove & Replace – Both
- BALL JOINT – Remove & Replace – 3500,4WD Lower,Both – [DOES NOT include alignment.]

Mileage83,835Service Date9/15/2021Services Performed- We test drove the vehicle and were able to duplicate the customers complaint. We checked the fluid level and found the fluid very discolored. We do not see any debris in the fluid at this time. What we recommend doing is a install of the thermostat by pass kit on the transmission, because the climate conditions do not require a thermostat for the transmission. Then service the transmission and replace the filter.
- TRANSMISSION OIL PAN GASKET &/OR FILTER – Remove & Replace – V8,8 Spd Trans w/o Skid Plate – [Includes: Confirm Fluid temperature for level check.]

Heard noise from valve cover area and removed oil fill cap, crankcase under vaccum and under boost crankcase under pressure due to a bad pcv valve integrated into the valve cover. Rec replace valve cover and retest. Also idling if oil fill cap removed vehicle runs lean due the vaccum leak from a bad pcv valve.
