    • THERMOSTAT HOUSING – Remove & Replace – V6
    • When we received the vehicle we found the water pump is broken and the belt is gone. we also found the lower radiator hose was off of the lower connection to the engine. We recommend a water pump, thermostat housing with thermostat, serpentine belt tensioner's and a new hose clamp on the lower radiator hose. Then start the vehicle and check for any head gasket issue's and advise. POST Repairs, we performed a head gasket testy and it passed at this time. We test drove about 8 miles and did not have any over heating issues. However we do hear some rod knocking type noise that could have been there before.
    • When we removed the water pump we found that the impeller had disintegrated. We did the best we could blowing out the debris from the cooling system but we are sure we did not get all of the debris!

    • We tighten two pin's. One from the front and one from the back. Everything is working correctly at this time. If it will not hold we will have the to the fuse block. We found no power from the PCM to the transmission relay. We found a bad connection at connector #4 at the PCM. We applied dielectric grease and reconnected. It still has codes but the transmission is shifting through all gears. The vehicle still has two codes: PO218-High temp Operation Activated P1604-PCM internal Dual Port RAM Integrity failure.

    • We test drove the vehicle and verified the customers concern. We then scanned the computer and had the following codes; PO730-Incorrect Gear ratio P1731-Incorrect Gear engauged C121A-Steering angle sensor not initialized. We cleared the codes and checked for any shorted or pinched wires and could not find any at this time. In regards to the C121A- code we would need to further diagnose that problem. It could be a faulty clock spring but we would need to confirm that. For the transmission issue we recommend replacing the valve body first and then retest. Customer declined further repairs.

    • Attach the stablizer on the right front as required.
    • We scanned the computer and have the following codes; PO714 PO218- Transmission codes. We tried scanning the PCM and it will not communicate with the PCM.It does have communication with the transmission and the instrument panel and air bags. We checked all grounds to the PCM and all power to the PCM. We then checked for wire continuity at DLC. After all of our testing we have determined that the PCM is faulty and should be replaced. Problem is the unit is discontinued.
