    • VALVE COVER GASKET – Remove & Replace – 1.4L Eng,Turbocharger – [Includes: R&I Ignition Coil.] – [Includes: Camshaft Covers on Over Head Cam Engines.]
    • We scanned the computer and have the following codes: PO106-Manifold Absolute Pressure sensor PO171-Fuel trim System lean P1101-Intake Air flow system Performance We opened the hood and heard the noise in the center of the engine. We opened the fill cap and it was under a vacuum and the noise stopped . This means the engine has a bad PVC. This is built into the valve cover which means we recommend replacing the valve cover. This leak can cause all of the codes that are currently in the computer.

    • ALTERNATOR ASSEMBLY – Remove & Replace – 1.8L Eng
    • Replace the positive battery terminal end as required because the old terminal has to much corrosion on it.
    • We checked the battery and it has a lot of corrosion on the positive terminal. We were able to start the vehicle but thew alternator is only charging 9.45 volts. We recommend a new positive battery terminal and a alternator. Then retest to see if it may need a battery after a extensive charge.

    • We tighten two pin's. One from the front and one from the back. Everything is working correctly at this time. If it will not hold we will have the to the fuse block. We found no power from the PCM to the transmission relay. We found a bad connection at connector #4 at the PCM. We applied dielectric grease and reconnected. It still has codes but the transmission is shifting through all gears. The vehicle still has two codes: PO218-High temp Operation Activated P1604-PCM internal Dual Port RAM Integrity failure.

    • We test drove the vehicle and verified the customers concern. We then scanned the computer and had the following codes; PO730-Incorrect Gear ratio P1731-Incorrect Gear engauged C121A-Steering angle sensor not initialized. We cleared the codes and checked for any shorted or pinched wires and could not find any at this time. In regards to the C121A- code we would need to further diagnose that problem. It could be a faulty clock spring but we would need to confirm that. For the transmission issue we recommend replacing the valve body first and then retest. Customer declined further repairs.
