    • We scanned the computer and have the following codes; PO714 PO218- Transmission codes. We tried scanning the PCM and it will not communicate with the PCM.It does have communication with the transmission and the instrument panel and air bags. We checked all grounds to the PCM and all power to the PCM. We then checked for wire continuity at DLC. After all of our testing we have determined that the PCM is faulty and should be replaced. Problem is the unit is discontinued.

    • ELECTRONIC CONTROL MODULE – Remove & Replace – ECM
    • We scanned the computer and have the following codes: PO335-Crankshaft Position Sensor "A" Circuit. When we snapped the throttle we can get the check engine light to come on. We checked the scanner and the crankshaft position code comes on. We then tested the sensor and find it out of range. We recommend replacing the sensor. We replaced the sensor and cleared the codes. We test drove the vehicle and during our test drive we snapped the throttle and the check engine light came back on. We scanned the computer and found that it appeared that the computer was not recognizing the crankshaft positioning senor circuit. The computer appeared to see half the sensor reading. We felt that the computer was also the problem. We recommend replacing the computer (PCM). We replaced the computer and then had the computer flashed. We test drove the vehicle again and snapped the throttle and the check engine light came back on again. We scanned the computer and the code PO335-Crankshaft positioning sensor circuit code came back on.

    • We checked the charging system and found the alternator charging at 13.93 volts loaded and 13.63 not loaded. The battery has 609 cca out of 710cca, The charging system is good. We did see that the front of the compressor looked like it was burn't. We inspected that and found that to be the problem. It appears that the clutch has burnt and the compressor is frozen. We recommend a new compressor, condensor/drier, and expansion valve.
